SHIPPING

 

Postage is charged in addition to an item’s cost. Postage charges are based on a flat rate in the UK. RBV is able to ship internationally at an additional flat rate.

 

Packaging, excluding gift wrapping is inclusive of an items cost. RBV presents it’s jewellery in a elegantly designed white foil printed box with the RBV logo design and a peach satin ribbon.

 

RBV recommends insuring return shipments (see Refund & Returns policy), and providing us with a tracking code. Please note that RBV Jewellery will not be responsible for loss or damage of return shipments. We cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer as a result of late delivery or cancellation of your order.

 

 

CARING FOR RBV JEWELLERY

 

RBV Jewellery is handcrafted by craftspeople and is made to order with materials available at the time of order. Therefore no two pieces will ever look exactly the same.

 

Please handle  RBV Jewellery with care and store in its box, or a soft cloth pouch, which can be purchased on the RBV website.  In the case of large statement earrings, items are best stored separately in their own cloth pouch to avoid damage to either piece.

 

Please avoid excessive force to prevent the bending, scratching and breakage of your item/s. If force is applied to the piece or it falls on the ground, there is a possibility that the material will crack, scratch, break, or stones will get dislodged. We will not accept any returns if any of these events occur.

 

 

CARING FOR GOLD VERMEIL/ ROSE GOLD JEWELLERY

 

RBV Jewellery specialises in 24 Karat Gold Vermeil Jewellery, which means that a piece of sterling silver jewellery has been 24k gold or rose gold plated. To avoid premature depletion of the gold plate it is recommended that customers follow these instructions;

 

  • Do not wear whilst swimming, bathing, showering, sweating or when in highly humid areas.

  • Do not spray perfume or chemicals directly on it. Spray perfume or body spray before wearing the jewellery. 

  • After applying makeup, clean your hands before putting on your jewellery. 

  • Polish it using a recommended jewellery polishing solution. To remove dust, polish with a clean soft jewellery cloth.

  • When not in use hang it up or store in a separate jewellery pouch or box so that it won't rub off by itself or with other materials and to prevent contact with air and humidity.  

  • Take off your jewellery prior to doing the dishes or in part taking in other activities where the item may get wet or dirty.

  • Use a dry, soft cotton cloth to wipe it gently before or after wearing.

  • Avoid sleeping in your jewellery, as this may cause unnecessary ware.

  • If after a period of time you wish to renew the gold plate of your jewellery, which will naturally fade with time please consult a professional plater.

 

HEALTH & SAFETY

 

RBV Jewellery states that it’s items are for adult use only. Some items have uneven edges and small elements that may be harmful to children or animals if handled or swallowed. Therefore, RBV specifies that it’s jewellery should be kept away from children at all times and that adults wear RBV Jewellery at their own risk.

 

 

REFUND & RETURNS POLICY

If you wish to return an item we will happily give you a full refund if it is returned within 7 days, providing that you have contacted RBV Jewellery and obtained a Refund Authorisation Number prior to sending back your item/s.  Returns without prior authorisation cannot be accepted. When returning with authorisation, please use the address printed on your package.

 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, without any signs of wear, and in the same condition that you received it, along with the attached receipt & appropriate documentation. It must also be in the original packaging. 

 

Postage and packaging of returned/ exchanged items are to be paid for by the customer. Items that are improperly packaged or uninsured will be refused receipt.  Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund, and the final eligible refund amount.

 

Please allow for two weeks for all refunds to be made. Pay pal refunds must be paid back into your Paypal account.

 

If you wish for an exchange you have 14 days to return your item/s in exchange for a credit voucher or product of equal value, with the exception of sale items which cannot be returned or exchanged. To receive an exchange you need to contact RBV Jewellery prior to sending back your item/s to receive an Exchange Merchandise Authorisation Number.

 

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@ruledbyvenusjewellery.com and send your item to the address printed on your original package & accompanying documentation. You may also phone RBV Jewellery on (+44) 07950483134. Customers are charged for the postage and packaging of exchanged items.

 

To return your product, you should mail your product to the return address provided on your package.  You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your final refund amount.

 

If your RBV Jewellery does not reach you in perfect condition, please contact us immediately and we will arrange for a replacement item to be sent to you on receipt of your original item. 

 

Special orders and sale items are final sale only and cannot be accepted for return.
